Welcome to FinanceGC. By downloading, installing, or using the FinanceGC mobile application ("App") or website ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FinanceGC, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

FinanceGC is a personal finance tracking application that allows you to:

• Upload and analyze bank statements using AI-powered extraction.
• Track income, expenses, debts, savings, and investments.
• Create and manage monthly budget plans.
• Generate financial reports and summaries.
• Monitor debt repayment strategies.

The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use only.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use most features of FinanceGC. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Providing accurate and current information.
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscription and Payments

FinanceGC offers a free tier and a Premium subscription. By subscribing to FinanceGC Premium:

• You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annual) at the rates displayed at the time of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the respective App Store (Apple/Google).
• Refunds are handled in accordance with Apple App Store or Google Play Store policies, as applicable.
• Prices may change with reasonable prior notice.

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. FinanceGC does not store your payment card details.

5. Not Financial Advice

FinanceGC is a financial tracking tool. The information, analysis, and reports provided by the Service are for informational purposes only and do not constitute:

• Financial, investment, or trading advice.
• Legal or tax advice.
• A recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset.

Always consult a qualified financial professional before making financial decisions. FinanceGC is not responsible for any financial decisions you make based on information provided by the Service.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Upload documents you do not have the right to share.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service.
• Share your account credentials with others.
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission.
• Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise the security of the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

The FinanceGC application, its design, code, trademarks, and content are owned by FinanceGC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You retain ownership of all financial data you enter into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service to you.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
• We are not responsible for the accuracy of AI-extracted transaction data. Always verify extracted data against your original statements.
• FinanceGC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
• Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile → Danger Zone → Delete Account). Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, without prior notice.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, via in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
